Welcome to Forest Edge B&B & Self Catering Accommodation (pet friendly) Cwmduad near Carmarthen,

Set in its own beautiful private valley in the heart of West Wales a haven of peace and relaxation with 30 acres of private land and direct access to the adjoining public forest it is the perfect place to unwind, walk, bring your dog  or ride with your horse. 

Our B&B accommodation is in a newly converted barn, all rooms have their own entrance and wet room and views over the paddocks and forest beyond.  In addition to your individual room there is a communal tv lounge, kitchen and dining area making it possible for you to cater for your own dinner make a packed lunch, or you could take a stroll to the pub at the end of the lane. 

Breakfast is taken in the conservatory of the main house overlooking the garden and stable block.

About Us

We have both worked in the hospitality industry all of our adult lives. For the last seven years we have been running our own multi award winning country pubs in Cornwall. Initially we had a large country pub famous for its good food and fantastic flower displays after 5.5 years we decided to downsize and took a small village pub. Whilst we both loved the village and the pub neither of us are getting any younger and longed for an early night or two and to spend more time with our animals. Forest Edge became available and with the added bonus of the newly converted barn to run as a B&B business the opportunity for a life change was one we couldn't resist.

Samantha is an award winning chef and will be cooking you a delicious breakfast of locally sourced products to set you up for the day exploring the area. Outside is where you will want to be at Forest Edge walking in the beautiful countryside or taking a trip down to the coast or, indeed, up to the coast as Forest Edge sits midway between the sandy beaches of the south and those in the north.

We have 2 boxers named Jack and Dizzy and a Haflinger horse called Tommy along with our latest edition to the family Buttons the miniature Shetland.
